About "Madarij al-Salikin"
"Madarij al-Salikin" (The Stages of the Wayfarers) is one of Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya's greatest and most famous works on Islamic mysticism and spiritual conduct. In it, he explains al-Harawi's "Manazil al-Sa'irin" (Stations of the Wayfarers). The book is distinguished by its profound analysis and precise deductions, as the author divides the path of the seeker into stages and spiritual stations, beginning with the stations of faith, submission, and excellence, and culminating in the highest spiritual stations. It addresses issues of the soul, the heart, and the spirit, citing the Holy Quran, the Prophetic Sunnah, and the sayings of the righteous predecessors. Ibn Qayyim's style in this book is characterized by its eloquence and power, along with its deep psychological and spiritual analysis. The edition published by Dar al-Arabiyya for Publishing and Distribution is distinguished by its high-quality production, clear font, and well-organized subheadings that facilitate reading.
